What's the difference between Pro and Pro+?
Pro gives you access to one ISO region of your choice. Pro+ unlocks all US RTOs (ERCOT, PJM, SPP, CAISO, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO) and European markets. The per-run cost is the same on both plans — you're paying for geographic coverage, not different analytics.
What counts as a run?
One click of "Run Scenario" (VIPER) or "Optimize Dispatch" (FCA) consumes one run from your monthly allocation. Browsing base case data, staging interventions, uploading files, and reviewing previous results are always free and unlimited.
What if I accidentally run a scenario?
Your monthly allocation is designed to give you room to explore. Runs are deducted from a pool you've already paid for — there are no surprise charges unless you exceed your allocation.
Do unused runs roll over?
No. Unused runs expire at the end of each billing cycle. If you consistently need more runs, contact our team to adjust your allocation.
How current is the model data?
Production cost models are re-solved daily with the latest weather data, load forecasts, and published constraint sets. Enterprise clients can request additional on-demand refreshes.
Can I switch my region on Pro?
Yes. Contact our team to switch your single-region access to a different ISO. If you need multiple regions simultaneously, Pro+ is the right fit.
How accurate are the results?
VIPER uses Power Transfer Distribution Factors (PTDFs) derived from full nodal production cost models optimized with Gurobi. FCA runs a complete 8,760-hour dispatch optimization with BESS state tracking. Both deliver the same analytical rigor as traditional consulting studies — in seconds.
What's the FCA → VIPER integration?
After optimizing a portfolio in the Firming Cost Analyzer, the integration lets you export it to any VIPER bus to see the grid-level impact — LMP changes, flow shifts, and constraint effects at your chosen interconnection point. Available as an add-on for Pro and Pro+, or included in Enterprise. Contact sales for pricing.
